Our Field Touring Alpine January 2011 Ecuador Volcanoes climb is under the leadership of Brad Boehringer, Nacho Espinoza and Eric Pedersen. They will be leading a group of 5 climbers on a 10-day trip which will culminate in an attempt on Cotopaxi.
Along the way the will tour the old city of Quito, climb three other volcanoes, (Pasachoa, Rucu Pichincha and Illinizas Norte), prepare for the techincal climb on Cotopaxi with training sessions and lectures on high altitude physiology and take time to enjoy the fabulous and rich culture of Ecuador.

Interesting fact: Nacho is a trained anthropologist and lives in the jungle near Guayaquil with his wife and new son! Nacho has put up some extreme route including a direct lin on the impressive Chacaraju in the Cordillera Blanca!
Eric Pedersen (Assistant Guide)
