Ama Dablam FTA Autumn 2011
In 2011 Ama Dablam will be led by Ben Kane and mark our 7th straight season on the Himalayan classic. We have summited in every year and look forward to seeing Everest from the top again!
Trekkers are welcome to join our team to our base camp and then continue on to Island Peak or Everest BC!

Ben Kane, Leader (Australia)
Ben led our recent successful expedition to Cho Oyu in April/May of 2011 and will be coming off of an expedition to Satopanth (Sept) and a Khumbu High Peaks and Passes (Oct) so will be acclimatized and fit to go! This will be Ben's third trip guiding to Ama Dablam
Climbs and Expeditions include: Aconcagua (False Polishl Polish and Normal), Ama Dablam, Mercedario, Broad Peak, Cho Oyu and a host of peaks in Nepal & New Zealand.
Siddhi Bahadur Tamang, Sherpa Guide (Nepal)
Siddhi has been a lead sherpa for FTA on Ama Dablam, Island Peak & Cho Oyu and is one of our strongest and most repected sherpas. This will be Siddhi's 10th trip with FTA and we could not be more excited to have him along.
Siddhie is also the resident nepali language instructor and takes great pride in helping our members to gain facility in nepali and during snowy days at BC this activity can be a life saver when the cards are worn and the batteries low!
Brad Jackson - Asst (AUS)
Brad has bee around the globe climbing and trekking for many years. His expeditions include Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Everest, Mt Cook and Denali.
