FTA Trip Resources
What is Included?
Field Touring is very consistent with other companies who provide full service trips and you will find yourself staying in the same tea houses, hotels and base camps as companies charging significantly more. We do not try to recreate your home at BC with extensive (and expensive) luxuries but we do have what you really need for a great climb and comfortable BC.
About our Teams
We have enjoyed the company of some amazing people our trips from accomplished 8000m climbers to people enjoying expeditioning in the great ranges for the first time.

It is important to be prepared for a wide variety of illnesses, infections and minor injuries. Proper vaccinations and a well stocked med kit are a great start.
Food on Trips
Perhaps one of the most important aspects of any expedition is whether you can eat and drink well as you climb. We think it is important that members are eating good quality food but also food they will eat. We work hard with you to ensure that you have a good diet for the trip ahead!
Gear Rental
We highly recommend that in preparation for your trip you purchase all climbing equipment and test it out before hand. If you decide to rent it is important to do so wisely and we will be there to help you.
Gear List
The list below is a general guide line that we have provided based on our many years of experience climbing throughout the wild places of the world. Each trip file contains more specific recommendations of quantity and quality of gear required and we take the time to work with each member to ensure you have appropriate gear for your trip.
